Hello all, We will be traveling to Venice this August and arriving in on the 9th . We want to reserve a water taxi to our hotel. I will most likely be using Consorzio Motoscafi https://www.motoscafivenezia.com/en/ .
How early is too early to put in a reservation . Also it asks for a pick up time along with our Flight details. If our Flight arrives at 9:20 what would you recommend for a pick up time . 10:00?

No need to book so far in advance
A few days before is fine
Don’t worry about pick up time, they will monitor your flight
( 10 would be too soon after 9:20 arrival if flight is actually on time. No way to predict how long passport control will take, etc)

if you try to reserve so early there is a fair chance that your flight could change and then all confusion would follow.
The rates are set, and unless you are arriving on the date of a major festival there will be plenty of taxi boats.
I'd wait until much much closer to August.
Are you talking am or pm? I ask because the airport will be deserted by that time, if in the evening, so there should be no competition for water taxis.
There is a bit of a walk to the water taxi dock, so add that time, in addition to actually getting off the plane, Passport Control, and any luggage retrieval. Does your hotel have a dock? If not, you could still be walking a short way.

@Pat it's 9:20 am and yes our hotel does have a dock it's the Palazzo Veneziano
