We will be parking at Marco Polo 2002 and want to take. a private water taxi to our hotel. Do we have to first go to the arrivals terminal or can we buy tickets right at the pier?

Patrice, glad you had a good drive. I just go to a water taxi stop if I need one (they are near major vaporetto stops and landmarks); the vaporetto is almost always good enough. Unless your hotel has a private dock, your water taxi may have to drop you off where you will still have a walk with your luggage to your hotel.
