Venice pass

If you have Facebook, Cameron Hewitt, one of the authors/editors for RS guidebooks just posted the instructions and the website to obtain the QR code for Venice’s new required ticket. The QR code is required for both overnight stays - although it gives you an “exemption no charge” or for paying as a daytime visitor.

His post gives more details, dates required, etc.

@Jean If you get an exemption because you are staying in Venice, does this cover Burano, Murano and Torcello?

Chris, I'm not sure what you mean by a "Venice Pass"? Are you asking about the new access fee for day-trippers visiting Venice on a pilot program for specific dates this spring/summer, or a sightseeing pass (the access fee may still apply for this if not staying overnight in the city).
