Venice on Sunday

We're going to be in Venice on Sunday (day 2 of our stay there). What sites will be open on Sundays and which will not. (i.e. churches, museums, general shopping, etc)

Churches are not a terrific choice on Sunday for obvious reasons. At best, some will be open for a few hours Sunday afternoon; some not open at all. However, Sunday Mass at San Marco is a beautiful experience (although you'll need to plan to stay for the 1 to 1.5 hours, seated, no photography/sightseeing/etc). I particularly love the sung Mass, which is at 10:30... I usually time my trips to be there for that Mass on Sunday.

Museums and shops should be fine. If you have the RS guidebook, it has a helpful guide to what is open on which days of the week.

No glassblowing at Murano on Sundays in case you must see the glassblowing.
