My itinerary finds my in Venice on April 30th and May 1st. I know that May 1st is Labor day. What is usually closed? I want to be sure to see those things on April 30th if I can. Are most restarants open? thanks

Sherri - You will have no problem finding a whole lot to do in Venezia!! The Piazza San Marco will be hustling, The Rialto area will be bustling, and, as you walk along the Riva degli Schiavoni - in front of the square by the gondolas , the vendors and cafes will be wide open.
