Venice Neighborhood Suggestion?

My wife and I (age 65) are planning a four night November stay in Venice . We'd like to make a few of our meals. I am hoping to find an apartment fairly close to a market and vaporetto stop. If possible, I'd prefer only one flight of stairs, super clean, with a view (but then, I'd also like a second home in Provence with a Porsche too).
There are so many apartments for rent that I'm uncertain which neighborhood to focus on. Any suggestions?

We like to stay in Canareggio. The place we like is a 2 minute walk from the Guglie bridge (vaporetto stop), in a more residential area, near the Jewish ghetto. There is street market on the main street. Very convenient, away from the main tourist area, but easily walkable to anything.

Dorsoduro and San Polo are good areas. Just a bit off the beaten path to escape the tourist crush - but still close enough to walk or take a vaporetto ride to everything.

Venice is really not that big so it's pretty easy to get to anywhere from anywhere. We like to stay in the area close to the Rialto Bridge, but just far away to avoid the crowds around the bridge itself.

Looks like you already booked a place.

I was going to recommend this place where we stayed last year The owner was incredibly nice although she spoke no English, she met us at the vaperetto stop, insisted we sit down, made us (showed us) all espresso and went over the place. We cooked a couple of meals, did laundry, location wise, very accessible to the major sites and most important, one straight street down from Fondamente Nove vaperetto stop, which is also the hub for visiting Murano and Burano.
