Pass holders without a dedicated entry time may only gain access to Doge's Palace at noon or later. When attempting to purchase the pass online at MUVE, vivaticket.it, I see no fields where one can select a time slot. Are time slots for DP unavailable for Museum pass holders?
Also, if I have to buy a dedicated pass, any suggestions whether to visit Doge ahead or after the Basilica?
I don't think it's easy to know how much time you'll want to spend at St. Mark's. I was there for more than two hours, but I've seen posts mentioning considerably shorter visits.
Of course, I suppose the same could be said for the Doge's Palace, which I've never visited.
We just got the regular pass, untimed, and used it around 4pm after being at St Marks from 9-1 (including the golden altar and rooftop).
We again used the pass for Murano Glass Museum, which was a real treat.
