Venice itinerary - rough draft

To refresh memories, I was the one who was going to skip Venice and ended up tweaking my itinerary, taking a day from Florence and Naples to make this happen. I only have two nights, but it is better than no nights.
My eyes are crossed as I spent all day working on this rough draft itinerary, so please excuse typos.

Some will say I am crazy to have left off Doges Palace, but for some reason it was not a definite yes for me. I also felt that if I added it, my exploring time would be further reduced. St. Mark's Basilica is a must see, and I am also very interested in the Scoula Grande di Rocco.
I may not be able to get all of day two in, and that's okay. I have a feeling I'm going to be in awe around every corner (the ones that are away from the people;) ).

Yes, I will be eating somewhere along the way. As you can see, a foodie I am not. IMO, sitting down for a meal takes time away from what I love more...exploring on foot.

I left off any form of water activity other than arrival from the airport/train station to Airbnb. It is possible that I could swing an evening ride. Not sure about that at this time.

I'd welcome thoughts on my rough draft itinerary. TIA

Looks good!

Some things may not take as long as you think. Like, for the Palazzo Contarini del Bovolo are you just climbing the staircase (what we did and what most people do) or visiting the inside of the building? Bridge of Sighs doesn't take long to photograph. But better to have a cushion than to run around trying to do everything as fast as possible.

I agree with you about the Doges palace even though I probably shouldn't say that since in almost a month total time spent in Venice I have never been in it or wanted to go in it. Not my era for painting and I am rather repelled by over-the-top opulence. Maybe I'll go next time. But I love the carved tops of the columns on the outside it (the columns closest to the Basilica) and have looked at every single one several times. Stories, people, animals, fruit, foliage, mythology, etc.

If you have a quick snack for dinner, you'll have time for after-dark Venice, which is wonderful.

I'm happy that you made the decision to include Venice.
