I am traveling to Venice in May to connect with a cruise ship for a trip to the Greek Islands. We will have a part of a day in Venice before the cruise and a whole day following the the cruise. Rick advises not to stay in the train area at a hotel. Does anyone know of a decent but not highly priced hotel that is convenient to the cruise ship the day before and a good hotel to stay in enice for the day after. Those of you who been to Venice and experienced a good stay at a $$ priced hotel, I would love to hear from you.
