Venice [INVALID] where to drop off rental car

we are arriving Venice May 21 in a Hertz rental car. would like to return it before going to our hotel. we are scheduled to return to this address: Piazzale Roma 496
Venice (), IT 30135 would we be better off to leave at airport or somewhere else?

Just mind the video speed traps driving over the causeway. Lots of people have had nasty surprises on their credit cards after they got home. If you have a sceduled drop off there, why not? Way more convenient than the airport.

What Sam said. It is much more convenient to drop it at Piazalle Rome. Just be aware that it may cost more. When I was checking prices on Hertz, a pop-up wanred me that thee is a 24 euro surcharge to drop at Piazalle Rome instead of the airport. But then we would have to pay to get from the airport to Venice, which with 3 of us would be as much or more than the 24 euro. Do mind your speed on the bridge/causeway, which is a notorious speed trap.
