Hi,
I'm going to be in between 2 RS tours and will be in Venice the afternoon of April 6th, full day the 7th, and the morning of the 8th...so, not a lot of time.
I would love recommendations for a local tour guide to make the most of my time there. I have researched the one's mentioned in RS Italy, but am hoping for personal experiences.
Also, if anyone will be there during those days and would like to share a tour, it would be welcome.
Thanks!
Hi there. I'm afraid i don't have a tour guide recommendation but wanted to say that it is so fun to "get lost" in Venice. We only had one night there a few years ago but absolutely loved it. We wandered down the little streets and just when we thought we were lost we would pop out and there would be a great cafe or shop. The locals were very helpful in pointing us in the right direction to get back to our hotel. We also really enjoyed just taking the public water taxi around to see the city from that point-of-view. Enjoy!
You will be doing walking tours with the RS Guide. Perhaps call the company and ask which areas will be covered. I agree with Michelle above, just wandering is wonderful! Safe travels!
I’m a huge fan of Luisella Romeo who owns See Venice. I’ve arranged 2 tours with her and referred friends to her last year. She’s a lifelong resident of Venice and a wonderful storyteller.

I had a good experience with Adventure Bellissime https://www.tours-italy.com/venice-tours
They offer a wide variety of small group walking tours as well as private tours. I think I found them through a Rick Steves guidebook.
