Venice hotels

I tried to make a reservation at Hotel Rialto and they have not responded. Thinking I made a mistake, I booked the rooms (which were available) with a credit card but still no confirmation. Should I start to worry?

Calling Italy is not that expensive with a calling card, it would be worth the 10 or 20 cents to just give the hotel a call and ask. If you can't reach them via phone, THEN you might worry. :)
