Seeking opinions on either of these two Venice Hotels:
1. Baglioni Hotel Luna
2. The Venice Times
Baglioni is $1,750 for 2 nights (5 star hotel)
Venice Times is $692. for 2 nights (4 star hotel)
BOTH have very good reviews. Is it worth $1,000+ more to stay at the Baglioni?
It looks like Baglioni is right off of St Marks Square and is surrounded by luxury stores. And you’re right around the corner from Harry’s Bar, so you’re paying for the location. Venice Times is further removed from the main sights, but Venice is small and easily walkable no matter where you stay. It all depends on your preferences. The hotel my RS tour stayed in was about equidistant between those two.
Is Harry’s Bar as good as people say?
It’s famous, but we never had time to go. We went to Caffe Florian in St Marks Square instead. Very cool experience.
