Looking to stay in Venice for a few days after a cruise. Could someone recommend a hotel under 200 Euros per night not far from the Cruise terminal?
Would really love to have some outdoor space but I know I'm asking for a lot. TIA

Best Western Hotel Olimpia is very nice. Venetian styled hotel with excellent breakfast buffet. Nice garden courtyard. Close to Piazza Roma. We stayed last May at about that price with a canal view. When i looked out and left, i could see the top of the cruise ship. There is another similar hotel immediately to our right next door on the corner with similar pricing and quality but i cannot recall name. My friend recommended that one, but we were impressed by the Olimpia website. We would stay again.

for what, a dozen years now? Hotel il Nido. Sorry, I didn't find anything close to it in the years before.

We stayed Oct. 2015 at the Hotel Mignon, very near the Ca'D Oro water taxi stop. Mignon is not fancy, clean, good breakfast, very welcoming, in a neighborhood where people live, work, and eat. We enjoyed this area, which was quiet at night. Under 100 euros.
