Venice hotel before boarding a cruise ship

I am arriving Venice early evening mid May before boarding the ship next day and am looking for a hotel offering a restaurant and lounge, and that is also convenient for some morning sightseeing.
This is an NCL ship and it looks like I will be going to the Marittima cruise basin.
Any suggestions will be appreciated.
Thanks

I have received many suggestion and good information. No more info is needed, and thanks to all who responded.

I don't know that you'll find many hotels in Venice with restaurant and lounge. Maybe a high rise chain hotel near cruse terminal?

How are you arriving in Venice?
You might want to stay fairly close to train station/Piazalle Roma for easy access from VCE and to your cruise ship.

Are you absolutely sure your ship leaves from Venice itself?

I am seeing departures on NCL lines this May from the Marittima port in the city of Trieste, which is a 2 to 3 hour train ride from Venice’s train station.

Now that a lot of cruise lines do not dock right in Venice anymore, it seems some do not inform the passengers exactly where the port of embarkation actually is.

If you are only flying in the night before, and it turns out to be Trieste your ship leaves from, you won’t have time for seeing Venice before getting to the ship.

Worth confirming so you know .
I hope yours is leaving from Venice itself!

Good suggestions above. Just looking at cruises out of "Venice" on the NCL site, they appear to depart from Trieste or Ravenna, unless I'm missing something (apologies if that's the case.) Like SJ above, it looks like May 2023 cruises out of "Venice" depart from Trieste.

Moving the larger cruise ships out of Venice proper happened awhile back, and has been a source of confusion for cruisers!

Now, does anyone have hotel suggestions?

I am thinking near the train station. This gives the morning for sightseeing before the train to Trieste ( takes just over 2 hours).

OP, can you fly in a day earlier to have more time in Venice?

The OP has not come back to let us know what they found out about their cruise port.
I wouldn't mind knowing, just out of interest.

He did come back and edit his original post to thank everyone for the information and suggestions and say he didn't need any more assistance. For fun, I looked up the NCL cruises leaving the Venice area in Mid-May and I think that the OP will have a great itinerary no matter which one he is on.
