Venice hotel

plan to stay at Venice for a night. Which hotel is more convenient? I prefer the hotel that I can See the beautiful scenery, easily accessible, shopping, good food.

You can choose to stay near Piazza san marco, the rialto bridge or the arsenale. Public transport in Venice is expensive, for example the water taxis. If money isn't an issue for you, you can stay in the city centre somewhere like the venetian.

Hotel Bauer, Room 239. Overlooks Campo San Moise with a balcony. It is expensive.

In May we stayed at the Hotel Gabrielli Sandwirth. Quite satisfactory. Between Arsenale and San Marco/Doge's Palace.

We just returned from a june trip. We stayed near the Accademia and it was in a nice location.

About 15 minute walk to St. Marks, 5 minutes to Accademia...very close to a lot of things to do.

We stayed as part of a rick steves tour. The hotel has a nice breakfast and small courtyard. Rooms were spacious..as much as Venice hotels could be.

Buy the Rick Steves book for Venice so you can see for yourself what the various options are that he recommends. You can download it to Kindle if you don't want the hard copy.
