We are heading to Venice in a few days and have the city pass for museums so we can skip the line for the doge's museum, for the basilica there are no tickets online for our dates, unless I guess I buy some kind of tour. we found 2 tour guides that are available on those dates. one suggested a 2 hour t tour including doge's, the other a 2hour tour including the basilica (and then she can buy us the skip the line entry tickets. Is it worth taking a tour inside the doge's or the basilica? of the self guided tour by the book is sufficient? and maybe better spend the money for a city guided walking tour?
Would love to learn from you experiences
Thanks

I am seeing skip the line tickets for the Basilica plus museum (the combo I would recommend) available for Friday and Saturday, 12 and 13 April). I did not check past that.
