Venice -- glass blowing tour/demonstration/class

I will be in Venice in late December. I really wanted to do a glass blowing class in Murano. I see that most of them are pretty surface level; I saw one that seemed like the real deal, but they are closed for the holidays. I found another that also seemed pretty intense, at OMG Murano, but they are not responding to email. Any suggestions?

I'm not sure about "formal" classes but we were in Murano in October and when embarking from the vaporetto, we just started walking and ran into a couple of places that had shops selling their wares and a small "factory" where they did the demo for 5e. it was very much worth the demo. Just walk and you'll see some places and lots of stores on the main streets. And of course, have a gelato while you walk.

I’ve used seevenice luisella on multiple occasions for special tours. Google it and see how she can help. She’s very knowledgeable on all things Venice and is responsive.

we did take a ride to murano, walking past the shops are men standing outside to "wheel you in" to see workers blowing glass, very aimed at tourists, it's hot in that room, then walk through room to outside (hoping you're buying). we walked further down then cross bridge to other side, gorgeous pieces everywhere plus prices low to high. i ended up buying 2 small roosters for my sister in hawaii. they packed it well for me to bring back to states, very helpful and friendly. have a great time.
