Is it worthwhile hiring a guide to tour the Jewish Ghetto in Venice? I realize that we can get a guided tour of the synagogues through the Jewish Museum. If it is worthwhile, any recommendations? I see prices are all over the map and some are very expensive.

We didn't have a guide, but I can imagine a good guide is always better than none.

I think you get everything from the museum tour. The ghetto is small and you walk through it on the tour. I took it years ago and vaguely remember explanations along the way.
