Tour in third week of September -- looking to book extra nights at both ends of tour. The hotel in Venice web site can be viewed in English --except for their "Terms & Conditions" and their "Privacy Policy, " which is Italian only. Assuming neither is anything radical --but really don't know for example cancel or change policy if needed. Any help? Looks as if hotel reservations at both ends can be made by phone or through their web sites. If by phone, is any consideration (reduced price) given to RS Tour members? Any other guidance offered is appreciated. Thank you.
I would always mention being part of the tour. It won't guarantee a discount, but you also won't know until you ask. Most hotels have pretty generous cancellation policies, so anything more limiting would tend to be in legible print and should also be stated on a confirmation email. translate.google.com works pretty well if you want to copy and paste in any concerning text.
You can always copy and paste into Google Translate to get a rough idea of the contents as well.
I use Google Chrome for my browser. Any time a foreign language comes up, I can right-click on the page and have the "translate to English" option. I generally imagine "Terms & Conditions" and "Privacy Policy" to be all legalese, just like any other internet site.
