Venice-Florence-Pisa-Rome

Hi all, me and my wife will be traveling to Italy and decided on the route, Venice-Florence-Pisa-Rome (10 days). And we need advice on issues:

a) I read some of the topics and realized that we should buy the train ticket through TrenItalia. Should I buy the ticket online or is OK (meaning availability) to buy the ticket (Venice-Florence-Pisa-Rome) when we are there in Italy?

b) We have some good idea on where to stay in Rome and Florence, however we need advice on where to stay in Venice (3 nights), with budget around EUR70-90.

Would appreciate if anyone can help.

You can rest easy waiting to buy your tickets there.

70 - 90E in Venice is tough, depending on the time of year you go. I can recommend the Hotel Santa Lucia from personal experience. Very clean, very cheap.
