So excited that our tour is nearly here. Is anyone else going to be on this tour? I'd love to get introduced and see what others have planned before the official meeting.

This was our first Rick Steves tour and we loved it so much we have done 8 more tours over the years. Rome will be hot, take a hat! If you have some free time or can stay longer at the end of the tour I recommend the Borghese Gallery (get tickets ahead) and taking the train out to Ostia Antica (the old Rome sea port).

We are starting in London (visiting family) then flying to Milan. We have tickets for the Duomo and will explore the city some before taking the train to Verona. Will explore Verona (self guided walking tour in Rick's book) and we have tickets to the opera in the ampitheater. Train to Lake Garda to explore the southern part of the lake before back to Verona and train to Venice the following day to start the tour. We have a couple of extra things planned but don't want to over book and exhaust ourselves. We live in Florida so we're actually looking forward to cooler temps lol.
