Does anyone know what the dates are in September for the Venice Film Festival. It is mentioned in RS Venice Guide Book but with no dates.

Thanks to Laura for the film festival web site I see it begins on Aug 29 and ends on Sept. 8th And we will be in Venice from Sept 4 until Sept 9th - talk about having a hard time finding a reasonably price place to stay. But, I will never know until I start e-mail places tomorrow (4/19) - here is hoping for a "deal".
