Is anyone else in Venice this weekend for the beginning of Carnival? I'm looking for company for a walk, a pub crawl, dinner, or most anything else.

You do get around Chani, don't you? I'd love to crawl with you, but the closest I'll get to Venice this weekend is the San Francisco Travel Show, where RS will be speaking, spreading his travel enthusiasm in person. I'll think of you, and my long-ago memories of Carnevale in Venice in 1999. Enjoy, and report back!!
