Does any one remember the name of the b&b in Venice that was once listed in Rick's book but has since been removed. It was in the middle of Venice and the owner's name was Ann marie and I think her husband once coached basketball in the olympics? It was on the third floor. It looked out onto the market.

How long ago did you see it in a RS book? I checked my 2001, 2003 and 2008 books and nothing looked like what you want. The only listing by the market was Albergo Guerratto and it is still in the book as of 2008. Did you mean the fish and fruit market by Rialto Bridge? Do you have any other info that could help? I believe it could have been listed in the 2004 or 2005 book. We stayed there in 2007 and I don't have any correspondence from her. I do remember that she asked for a photo before staying at her b&b. She was also in the process of adding more rooms as thay bought the next floor up from there apartment.

Ron, I believe the place you are referring to is called Le Mansarde. I found the name in the Graffiti Wall- B & B section. Cheers, Sherry

I think it may have been too expensive. I remember in 2007 we paid 110.00 euros.
