Venice end of May

I will be in Venice for 3 full days at the end of May after a cruise. Any suggestions on where to stay and what tours to go on? It would be helpful if the hotel offered the tours so I could just go from there. I may or may not be alone so the easier the better.

So fun! Well the "Colosseum and Vatican" of Venice are St. Mark's Basilica and the Doges Palace. It's a must do historically. I also went and saw an opera in the evening on the water when I was there, highly recommend a musical experience in Venice if youre into that. They are seriously everywhere. Murano and Burano tours are the next most popular. Quite fun and fascinating to see the handicrafts of lace making on Burano and Glass making on Murano. What area is your hotel in? Some tour companies have really convenient central meeting points especially in San Marco. Food tours in Venice are fun too very different than other places in italy.

hey hey pupmom
what port does your cruise disembark at? what kind of transportation will you have from ship to venice, and time off of ship with the many thousands wanting same thing "all in a hurry"
is this room for only one person, any amenities you hope/want/need (A/C, elevator/lift, breaskfast "may charge", camcellation policies, budget in euros, buy a vaporetto pass, where you headed to after venice.
what are you hoping to see in venice, some attractions you need to prebook with date/time stamped, other interests (walking tours with comfy shoes, food/wine/history tours, island tours)
booking.com
tripadvisor.com
trivago.com
look at these sites, what suits your fancy & budget, find something, email directly to hotel for better rates or something else added.
after you have found something come back and ask more questions for good bad & ugly. good luck
