I have a 8:20am train to Milan from Venice. The vaporetti time table says the earliest line/2 from Rialto C to Ferrovia A is at 7.20 am. I am staying near Giardini Biennale Vaporetto stop. Do I need to walk to Rialto or is there an earlier boat that picks up at my stop?
You can use the No 1 boat. It starts at 4:45 am and is every 20 minutes until 6:05 am, then goes every 12 minutes. It does take 53 minutes to get to Ferovia.
You can also use the 4.2 boat. First one is a 6:36 am, then 6:45 am and every 20 minutes afterward. It takes 40 minutes to Ferovia.
Finally, there is the 5.2 boat. First one is at 6:01 am, then every 20 minutes afterward. It takes only 29 minutes to Ferovia.
You have a lot of options to get you to the train station.
Thank you so much! Did you get this from the ACV website?
do you have an iPhone?
Install an app called CheBateo? and you too can have just the answers you need at a fingertip....
Che Bateo is great. Only looks at Venice, only looks at vaporetto services. Che Bateo translates as “Which Boat”. A friend in Venice pointed me to it.
Dinosaur style, looking at the published timetables at:
