We have been only to Venice in 2011 and would love to re visit. Or do we skip it and stay longer elsewhere?

Thank you!
Ps. We love to hike, ebike, eat delicious food, go to a few museums. (Not big wine tasters)

You will want to check and see when the lifts stop running in the Dolomites. If they've shut down, that will limit your hiking opportunities. I would check for this year, which will give you an idea (but not certainty) for next year's schedule.

This is my personal preference, but I would not skip Venice!!! We were there for the first time this past May, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. You were there in 2011, which was a long time ago, really. Will be 15 years by 2026. Venice, to me, is like no other. I highly recommend staying in the Dorsoduro district in Venice; it's much quieter than San Marco and St. Mark's Square. And there are so many great churches and museums to visit. And just wandering through Venice and getting lost is fun.

Do you have a town in mind for Cinque Terre? We really enjoyed our stay in Manarola at the Hotel Marina Piccola.

Thank you for your input! Venice has left a special place on my heart. ❤️. We have not finalized where in CT we will end up. Lodging and accessibility are priorities. So lucky to have plenty of options.
