Venice Doge Secret Itineraries cancelled thru 7/5

Just received this notice. No reason given. Perhaps the heat wave? Bummer.

Probably because of the heat & someone fainting in the tight quarters because of it.

We did that tour a couple Septembers ago. It was probably low 80s. We enjoyed the Secret Itineraries tour, but it was very hot in some parts of the palace.

Honestly it's a great way to skip the line and avoid the crowds but IMO you're not missing a lot that is particularly memorable with this cancellation. I'd say "don't sweat it" but that is probably impossible given the weather.

I'll agree with heat as the likely cause. One of the rooms we visited on the tour was directly under the roof. It was hot in April!
