[Venice] Does San Marco campanile bell tower sell out in June?

Family of three traveling to Venice, arriving Thursday 20 June with flight landing 9 AM. Depart Sunday 23 June on 11 AM train.

It looks like I've already missed our chance at seeing the Basilica San Marco, as no tickets appear to be available 20-21 June, and it's closed entirely on 22 June. However, I see broad availability for the bell tower climb.

Is it likely to sell out too, being June? I hate to commit us to specific times, especially with nonrefundable tickets that are unchangeable and not knowing what our jet lag situation may be. I'd love to know how long you all think I can safely wait -- or if I should jump on it, when would you recommend we go for the best experience? We're a relatively active, fit family, ages 49, 44, and 14, but I wouldn't call us morning people. ;-)

It’s unfortunate the you aren’t morning people as it’s the best time to see Venice relatively uncrowded by the masses. Optimum time to see the city come alive.

No advice regarding the bell tower. My Venice trip
was in December. Not a peak time with hordes of tourists.

Keep checking, they may add tickets closer to the date.

You can also queue up to buy tickets in person, although
the line may be long.

Outfits like Viator and Getyourguide sell tours that include
tickets. It looks like you can book online for 6/21.

This is for the Basilica, roof, and museum, not the Bell tower,
which is a separate ticket, and as you note, still bookable on
the official site.

Thanks folks! Appreciate the suggestions. Being night owls means we're looking forward to exploring especially when the day wanes, the heat dissipates, and the crowds disperse.

And who knows? Adrenaline, jet lag, excitement, and windows that aren't sufficiently darkened may all combine to have us on the move sooner than we would expect! ;-)

There's also a great view from the tower of San Giorgio Maggiore, a beautiful church across the channel from San Marco. It will be less crowded because it requires a vaporetto ride. There's an elevator and the church is well worth seeing.
