We will get to Venice tomorrow mid afternoon
Staying 3 nights
Leaving very early morning last day
Any recommendation of what to do?
Where to eat, etc for family of 4?

Seriously....is this late planning? Hit the basics and wander....and with two kids along, ride the Vapperetos everywhere.

We spent a day taking the boat to the Cemetery Island (sorry I forgot the name) very beautiful and interesting - beautifully maintained and several very famous people buried there.....
then on to Murano - walked around saw the glass blowing and enjoyed a nice lunch, then back on a boat to Burano (my favorite) famous for lace making and the colorfully painted houses.
Then took the boat back to Venice.
When I say boat - it is more of a transportation service - nice roomy ferry type boat.
