Hello
I was wondering if anyone had been to Venice and used the Venice connected card. I am also interested whether there are any discounts for museum entry or vaporetto rides for children 12 and 14 years.
Cheers

Just returned from 3 city Italy trip yesterday. The Venice Connected access points turned out a little different than I understood when I booked it. You pick up vaporetto passes at Santa Lucia station (on the right as you go down the front stairs facing the Grand Canal). The best deals on transport are to be had by booking at least 1 week before you pick it up. You can also obtain museum cards, but for us, they were not at any discount. If you order them with Venice Connected, they must be picked up at a participating museum, not at the station when arriving. I thought I would get a whole packet when I arrived, but this was not so.
Thank you for this information. I find the websites pretty confusing.
Cheers
