Is the Venice city pass for visitors worthwhile? It gives you access to free wifi in the city, public transportation,but I think that may just mean ferries and not valporettas, and some museums.
Does anyone have any experience with this?

For just the vaporetto transport, the cost is
1 day = 20 EUR
2 day = 30 EUR
3 day = 40 EUR
7 day = 60 EUR
The 3 day adult City Pass that includes all the museums, churches, wifi, and vaporetto pass is 80.90 EUR. If that is what you are talking about, you can see that about half the cost is for public transport (vaporettos).
I normally just get the vaporetto pass, but I have been to most of the museums over the years, so now I just go ala carte for those. I get by with my hotel wifi. Depending on how I'm arriving or leaving, I may get the airport bus adder as well.
