In booking admission and tour tickets in Venice, I cannot see the dates available yet to book on what I thought was the official website
However, tickets appear to be available on this website.

What am I missing? Is there a difference in availability for private companies? Should I pay the 10€ up charge to obtain the tickets?
I am over 90 days out in when I would like the tours.

per the official website tickets for the English tour are currently only available to purchase through the end of March. I'm assuming like other museums they will release future dates later.
I would wait for the first site to work. The second one is not likely to have any early access, but rather they'll make their request at the same time that customers would and so can't guarantee what will be available. This is among the notes from the second company:

The confirmed time is not always the same time you requested; the museum automatically confirms the closest available time on the same date if the requested time is sold out.
Thank you both for the replies and assistance. I have trip planned in Italy before and the official websites were very clear when individuals would be able to purchase tickets . I just wasn’t sure why I can not seem to locate similar information for either Venice or Florence.
