Not on San Marco Sq, but at the Rialto Bridge - we LOVE- Al Ponte Antico -- you can see reviews and photos on Trip Advisor, but book direct with hotel. They even have a private dock for water taxis if you'd rather take a private water taxi from/to the airport/train station instead of Vaporetto - they can drop you off right at the hotel.

And just know KING beds are very American and not always easy to find in Europe. . . . -- WHEN IN ROME . . .

There are no hotels overlooking Piazza San Marco itself. The two closest are Baglioni Hotel Luna and Hotel Danieli, both adjacent to the square with views toward the bacino. Both are highly-rated, lovely hotels.

You could look at those for a balcony room, large bed, and walk-in shower.
