My wife and I are ending our cruise in Venice but our plane does not leave unti 19:20, none of the cruise line services offer a convient way to deal with our luggage. We plan on going into town for the day then getting to the airport about 17:00. We plan on taking the bus to the airport. Is there baggage storage at the bus station? Is the bus station and train station one in the same? Would I need to book space ahead of time? Thanks, ahead of time, for all you input.

The bus station is separate from the train station and they are connected by a rather long (for Venice) pedestrian bridge with steps over the Grand Canal. There is a luggage storage office in Piazzale Roma (where the bus station is) operated by Trasbagagli.
