Venice B + B's

My husband and I will be returning to Venice in March and have decided to try a B + B this time. Has anyone ever stayed at Ca'Arco Antico in San Polo near the Rialto market? How about Corte Campana?

Thank you! Cheryl

Cheryl - since you've gone a day without a response, I'd suggest checking for reviews of these hotels on Tripadvisor. They maintain many more reviews than you can find here when you have such a specific questions. Good luck!

Try this website for great b&b's: www.cross-pollinate.com It is a bed and breakfast booking service owned and operated by an American family living in Rome. Rick recommends them in his book. I have stayed with them on numerous occassions and the prices and b&b's have been great!!!

Thank you! I did check reviews on TripAdvisor yesterday and we decided to try Ca'Arco Antico. I will have to check Cross Pollinate, though, it sounds helpful. Cheryl

Cheryl I stayed at the B&B Ca' Centopietre in May and thought it was terrific. It is in Dorsoduro, just about 5 minutes from the Accademia vaporetto stop. The manager (Carlo) was extremely helpful. Their website is http://www.centopietre.net/. There are a number of reviews on tripadvisor if you want more info about this place. If you are interested, there is an email address on their website. Send an email directly to them asking about availability and rates rather than using the online booking site. The price he offered me was less than what was quoted on the booking site.
