My travel mate uncovered this nice online article about Venice's 2024 Art Biennale. It describes what's being shown in the various countries' pavilions and even includes some photos. It could help people traveling to Venice this year do some prioritizing.

Here's the Biennale website: https://www.labiennale.org/en/art/2024/prepare-your-visit. In 2022 there was a handy map available online as well as in printed form in Venice. I haven't found a map online yet.
Admission isn't cheap: €30 (€20 senior, €16 for students and those under 26) for one entry to each site; €40 for 3 days; €50 for a week. There are no concessionary rates for the multi-day tickets. However, there are satellite installations around the city, many (probably most) of which are free. Tickets are primarily required for the Arsenale and Giardini venues. Correction: As Gail points out below, the €30 ticket doesn't require you to visit the Arsenale and Gardini sites on the same day.
The website says the two large venues are usually more heavily visited on weekends, so those with flexibility should try to visit during the week. With a few scattered exceptions, the Biennale is closed on Monday. Refer to the second link above for details.
