Title- that's tourists. How many days ahead do you have to get tickets to the major places?

Typically not crowded BUT nothing about travel post Covid will be typical anywhere.
Also check the weather and pack layers to wear.
Only you can make the decision about pre booking.
Do whatever makes you comfortable.
