Does anyone strongly recommend any specific city tours of Rome, including the Colisseum and the Vatican, as well as for Venice?
I have also heard good things about 3 Millennia Tours. We are debating between 3 Millennia and Angel for our Vatican City Tour.
I have heard good things about wheninrome tours and angel tours. I plan on using the wheninrome tours for the colosseum in June.
In Rome Angel tours. I did the Vatican tour and really enjoyed it and others in my group had done the Coliseum tour and enjoyed that. They also do an evening tour for the 'major' sites which is meant to be really good.
We are booked with Angel Tours in June to see the Vatican. We are going to try and do the Colisseum on our own.
Tom,
Last time we were in Rome we took a bus tour, hop on, hop off. It was great. It cost 15 euro and the ticket was good for 48 hours. They have earphones you can wear that explain different sights. When you get to the Vatican or Colisseum there are always tour guides who can offer you tours. We took a tour of the Colisseum with a college study and it was great. You by-pass the lines and the tour is imformative.
