Just navigated the Venice airport. Had blinders on looking for the BancoMart ATM (see my other post) and so got very off track getting to the water taxis. The way to get to the water taxis is on the first floor. The first floor is above the ground floor. The water taxis are shown in a blue banner with the other options and they are grouped by floors. So when you get off the plane and then if you also have to go to baggage claim, that is all on the ground floor. So you go up to the first floor to go to the water taxis. Take the moving sidewalk and keep going. Finally, they take credit cards for the water taxi tickets of course. I didn’t need any Euros from the ATM after all for the water taxi but oh well, I’ll get more Euros from a bank tomorrow. Enjoying Prosecco and fresh fruit at Hotel La Fenice Des Artistes right now😎.
