Venice airport to Gritti Palace transportation options?

Hello,
Our first stop is Venice. We are staying at the Gritti Palace and before anyone says any comments I am staying on points that I have been saving up.
I hear people talk about the aulilauro. Or a taxi or even the bus. What does everyone recommend?
Does the aulilauro even have a close stop to my hotel? We are 4 of us.

Thanks in advance
Yoli

It is the Alilaguna- very simple- walk to dock at airport, buy your ticket, board. I believe Gritti is right at the SM Giglio stop
Here is info w/maps
https://www.alilaguna.it/en

or take the ACTV bus to Piazzale Roma then Vaporetto #1 to SM Giglio
Bus info:

Vaporetto map:

Or
a private water taxi for $$$ (no taxis on wheeling venice !)

You might also check the Gritti website or email them they can tell you how to get there.

The Alilaguna would be easiest- no transfers. 15 E
Bus is 8 E plus vaporetto entails a transfer
Water taxi most expensive.

We bought our vaporetto pass at the airport and took the Alilaguna- we stayed very close to the Gritti- it was super easy- no steps or bridges to cross and then we had our vaporetto pass in hand on arrival.

If you are staying at the Gritti Palace, even on points, live it up. With 4 people a water taxi will cost you 110 EUR, If you take the Alilaguna "A" boat, it will cost a little more than half that at 15 EUR per person. There is a dock close by, but you will make a lot of stops along the way, like 1 1/4 hours in a crowded boat with dirty windows. So I suggest you celebrate staying at Venice's most expensive hotel by taking a water taxi which will deposit you at the hotel's own dock in about 1/2 hour.
