Why does Venices Marco Polo Airport have a Dedicated security screening section for flights direct to the US? What's done differently?
TSA protocols?
I don’t remember anything different from the ordinary. They check your passport, etc.
US government requirements. US bound flights have more stringent protocols at all airports.
Must not be much of a security operation. Venice-U.S. flights are to Philadelphia on American AIrlines and to Atlanta and JFK on Delta. And these are all seasonal flights--not all year.
