From Piazzale Roma and the Tronchetto take the ACTV Line 1 vaporetto and get off at the “San Marcuolo –Casinò” stop. Take the street in front of the stop and at the end turn right, cross the bridge and keep to the left. Turn right and you will be in Calle (street) Colombina. At the end of the calle to the right you will find the small square with the well and Hotel Cannaregio 2357.

I would get a bus+boat ticket and take the No 5 bus outside the airport door to Piazzale Roma, then change to the No 1 boat to San Marcuolo. Walk around the back of the church to the left, then a right on Rio Terre de Cristo to the open intersection, then a right on Calle Pistor (busy street) and across the campiello and over the first bridge, its on your left.

The cost of the bus+boat ticket is 18 EUR, If you intend on getting a multiday vaporetto pass, you can add the airport bus one way for an added 7 EUR.
