We are staying in this location Cannaregio, 1391A, 30121 Venezia VE, Italy through an AirBnB. I was referred to this listing from another forum member (different forum). That person did not actually stay here, but it was on his list if the place was available.
Any thoughts on location? We will be there in April.

Bit hard to comment without a street address. Do you have a calle where the apartment is located?
I stayed in that general area last summer and I found the side streets very quiet. It's a short walk to the main "street" where you can find caffe's, bakeries, shops, etc. As the apartment description states, it is close to the train station. The only down-side to that location: I wanted to go to Piazza San Marco early in the morning to watch the sun rise over the Grand Canal, but the vaporetto stopped at Rialto (the early boat doesn't go all the way to San Marco) and you had to walk the rest of the way, so I missed the sunrise (from Rialto to San Marco you have to walk about 15 minutes). Poor planning on my part in terms of not checking the schedule. The apartment reviews look very good. April is usually a nice time to enjoy Venice. Have a wonderful trip!
I stayed in that area on my last visit and loved it. It is more residential (where I was, anyway) so I felt like I was a local. Still was quick and easy to get anywhere I needed to be.
