Venice accommodations under 200 euros

Try venere.com. I just looked and found a bunch for May. I try to stay above a 7.5 rating by their guest reviews and have always been satisied.

Look in the Dorsoduro area - it tends to be more reasonably priced and is close to everything, yet away from the touristy bustle of other neighborhoods.

We have used these folks for apartments the last couple of times with good luck.

The problem you will run into is that many have a three night minimum, I did try a two night stay next May and there were a few availablevnd in your price range even for two bedrooms.

Just returned from Venice. Rented a lovely apartment in Castello through vrbo.com. The apartment is called Ca'Luna and is conveniently located - lots of shops, cafes and close to a supermarket.

Was looking at booking either the apt. "Angelo Michele" or apt. "Carmini" through www.truly-Venice.com for a trip this past July for 5 people. Daniela was the person I corresponded with and she was very prompt in answering any questions I had. The Carmini would have been 238 Euros/night and the Angelo Michele 200 Euros/night. I don't recall but they may have had a minimum stay of 3 nights. There are many other apts. on their website. We were looking for an apt. with 2 bathrooms as we had 5 people. Ended up booking one of Hotel Campiello's apartments as had previously stayed in one them.

Thank you everyone for such great suggestions! I checked every single one out, and we are now all set with reservations through vrbo.com at Ca'Luna (thanks, Camille!). The price? 150 euros a night and the perfect location. Thanks again!

Try the Rick Steves recommended website www.cross-pollinate.com. We've used it twice for our reservations in Venice. Lots of pictures and details. www.venere.com is also good
