Try B&B 3C - great location in San Marco, clean and comfortable, reasonable prices, 4 minute walk from the vaporetto stop.

We stayed at Locando Leon Bianco. It's a B&B inn right on the grand canal close to Rialto Inn. You want only the room on the 4th floor on the corner...the nicest one. I think there are only 7 rooms. The one right next to it looks like a good location to. It has good air conditioning. The owner is not there in the evening, you are on your own. We were just there 2 nights. I wouldn't have wanted to stay there an entire week, I would prefer a full service hotel. But if you want to be on the Grand Canal and not pay an arm and a leg, this is your place.

My favorite area is Cannaregio. It's quiet, but a short walk to the center of things. Good restaurants and two great hotels: Boscolo Venezia and Hotel ai Mori d'Oriente.

You might want to check out Pensione Guerrato. It's in the Rialto Bridge area, but is off the beaten path. Stayed there a number of times and were well pleased. If you should book it, let us know and we can give you short cut directions to save some time and walking with luggage.

Pensione Guerrato was full during out dates, but they referred us to Hotel Al Ponte Mocenigo. We were very pleased with the "superior room" at Al Ponte Mocenigo for 190 euros a night in June. There is a convenient vaporetto stop just a block away from the hotel.

We LOVED our stay in this apartment and would not hesitate to stay again. It is located between the Canneregio & Castello neighborhoods. We loved our terrace with view of the Basilica dei SS. Giovanni e Paolo. The owners are very kind and responsive. https://www.vacationrentals.com/listing/p7004452

Oops, just noticed that it's not available for your dates. Sorry. Maybe someone else might want to take a look at it.
