Best bets for Venice in November in the rain!

Dianne, I assume you're asking about sightseeing choices on rainy days? My choice would be indoor activities such as the Doge's Palace, Peggy Guggenheim gallery, etc.

Ken, her signature shows Venice, Italy. Perhaps she is about to share her best bets. Maybe the post got cut off before she was ready to send it??

It may rain. We were there in late October and had some rain - but so light we didn't even want an umbrella. I don't think you have to completely abandon the idea of taking long, random, evening strolls around Venice. It will be a little cooler, but I kind of like that when I'm out and about. You may also have to avoid aqua alta some mornings in some areas, but it's less of a problem than it's often made out to be. St. Marks was the most noticeable area affected. If it does experience some flooding, avoid it in the morning and come back in the afternoon after the water has receeded.

a couple hours in the casino indeed. Or head over to the glass blowing factories.
