My family of 5 (2 married couples and one single) is visiting Venice in August for 2 nights. We want to be within walking distance of St. Mark's, so either that neighborhood or one of the surrounding ones. Are there any places that accommodate 5 people? At this point, we think we'll have to get 2 rooms, but we'd prefer one if possible.

Venere.com will let you put I a search for a room or apartment to accommodate five adults. Using random dates in August, I found both hotel rooms and apartments that are available for two nights. Here is an example:
