4 adults fly into Venice. Each have two checked luggage and each a back pack. Would we be able to easlly share a taxi to our hotel in Venice. Including water taxi too. Or bc of the luggage woukd we need to go separately?
I assume you can manage to carry/wheel your luggage yourselves.
Water taxi or the water bus (Alilaguna) will both be fine for luggage. How near a canal or a water bus stop is your hotel?

Presumably this is the trip that includes the cruise in Greece? ( explaining the abundance of bags?)
Unless your lodging has bridge free access from a water taxi/ water bus stop, I suspect you will unwittingly be providing entertainment as you wrangle all that baggage
I think the bigger problem you could have is getting from the boat to your lodging, not finding a suitable boat.
The bridges have steps.

You will need a private water taxi. We took the Aililaguna a few months ago. We barely got our one per person carry on suitcases in.
I would make sure your hotel is very close to a dock as trying to wrangle two pieces of luggage across the bridges of Venice would not be fun.
